From chroming to powder coating

APC have continually improved and developed its products since 1984. The recent focus has been on the effects of making our products on the environment. Shopping baskets were previously chromed. This means a process using high quantities of water and gas resulting in an end product that cannot be renewed or recycled. Today the product is painted with a powder coating giving a finish that can easily be cleaned as well as recycled.

Seats/Parts
Today’s seat is 100% free of PVC and is recyclable without creating poisonous gases. All other plastic and metal parts used in Mart Cart products are recyclable
